Podcast about the project “NachLeben”

The conference “You are as you eat. Sustainable training in food occupations” of the BIBB – Federal Institute for Education and Research had to be cancelled due to the Corona pandemic and took place alternatively in the form of a webinar on May 19, 2020. Here, model experiments sustainability-oriented concepts for competence development in professions of the food craft and food industry were presented in more detail. The “NachLeben” project is one of a total of 18 model trials funded by BIBB and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) to improve vocational training in the context of sustainability.

In addition to exciting speeches and discussions in the webinar, the participants^ of the pilot projects were given the opportunity to present their work on the BIBB website and make it available in the long term. In creative implementation, videos, podcasts, etc. were created to present the ideas and results of the model tests.

The model experiment “NachLeben”, which deals with the development and testing of sustainability-oriented teaching-learning arrangements, presented its work by means of a podcast: Linda Vieback from Otto von Guericke University in Magdeburg and Lukas Folkens from Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences talk about the tasks and goals of the “NachLeben” model trial, tell what has been achieved so far and how the current situation surrounding the Corona pandemic is affecting implementation.
