Organizational Development in University Teaching – Practical Reports on the Quality Pact Teaching Project at Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences

The project “Qualität_h2” (Quality_h2), which has been implemented at Magdeburg Stendal University of Applied Sciences since 2012 and was funded as part of the federal-state program “Qualitätspakt Lehre” (Quality Pact for Teaching), will come to an end at the end of this year. Reason enough to a summary of the results and successes of this measure for quality improvement and development in the areas of study, teaching and organizational development at universities.

The collected findings of the project staff are now available as a book (ebook or print copy available at the link www.wbv.de/shop ) and provide interesting insights into sometimes complex development processes within the university.

Scientists from the Spirit research group tested new concepts of scientific work and digitalization in university teaching and implemented practical projects for course and curriculum development as part of the QPL sub-project on teaching/learning quality in economics courses. Here, the focus was directly on investigations into the feasibility of block teaching as well as the planning and implementation of an international semester in the business studies program.
