Veronika Weiß and Victoria Batz from the Spirit Team have the opportunity this year to participate in the organizing committee of the HCI conference “Humans and Computers 2020” under the title Digital Change in the Flow of Time. They are taking over as Demo Chairs. Originally, Magdeburg was selected as the location for MuC 2020 and the organizers were really looking forward to the event in the fall. Now the MuC will take place digitally. Still, it’s a great chance to help shape this virtual conference. Exhibits will be showcased online on the MuC website during the conference period, Sept. 6-9. Exhibitors will demonstrate their prototypes with a video and concept description. During the demo session, submissions will be demonstrated and explained live. The live sessions serve as a technical exchange and visitors have the opportunity to address their questions directly to the exhibitors. As a prelude, there will be a demo slam – All submissions will be presented in short form to give an overview to those interested. The implementation effort, original & stand-out ideas as well as technical & societal innovations will be especially honored. The best submissions will be rewarded with a demo award.
