Roland van Oostveen is an associate professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (OntarioTechU). In 2015, he became director of the Educational Informatics Laboratory. His current research examines the role of digital technology literacy in learning and the development of open online learning environments. Roland received his PhD in curriculum and learning from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto in 2005.
