Dr. Elke Mählitz-Galler

Deputy Head

Elke is working as research associate in the project quality agreement/pact teaching at the University of Applied Sciences Magdeburg-Stendal. Her business area is the introduction of Service Learning in the degree program of Business Administration in the department of economics as well as the development and implementation of student’s social commitment that is remunerated with social credit points. In addition, she is entrusted with the quality enhancement of international internships and gained teaching experience. Elke holds a doctor’s degree in Egyptology and was promoted with an international scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service. Working as a long-time associate on excavations of the German Archaeological Institute, Department of Cairo, she gained international experience; among others in a joint project with the University of California, Los Angeles.
