On September 2, LandStarK will be holding a public workshop at the Überland Festival in Görlitz.
The festival is organized by the Thünen Institute for Regional Development and combines the practical, artistic, political and scientific examination of rural areas in many different formats – with a focus on eastern Germany.
LandStarK offers a serious game workshop to explore possibilities for regional climate adaptation. Options for climate adaptation measures are designed in a participatory manner: After an inspiring knowledge input on options for microclimate management, participants can implement their own ideas using Lego and other materials. The individual solutions are then condensed into a joint 3D model and discussed. The haptic construction of innovative scenarios makes the ideas more tangible and easier to understand.
The workshop thrives on the individual expertise of each participant: Experience and knowledge are shared and brought visibly into the room using haptic methods based on LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®. This creates a shared knowledge space that provides a breeding ground for innovative ideas and collective solutions for the selected regions.
