#CMTB25 Conference: Change Media – Transform Business
Invitation to the CMTB Conference 2025 at Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences

We are delighted to invite you to the CMTB Conference 2025 (Change Media – Transform Business), taking place on January 24, 2025, at the Hörsaalgebäude 14 on the Herrenkrug Campus, Magdeburg.

Under this year’s theme, “Societal Transformation,” the conference will explore the interplay of technology, ethics, and business in shaping a sustainable and inclusive future.

The event opens at 9:30 AM, followed by a keynote address at 10:00 AM by Professor Vladimir Trajkovik from UKIM Skopje, North Macedonia, setting the stage for a day of engaging presentations, workshops, and discussions. Throughout the day, our international student speakers and poster presenters from three countries will share their cutting-edge research and developments in AI, data, education, and ethics.

In thought-provoking talks, AI-based demos, interactive workshops, and a hands-on hackathon, we’ll tackle some of the most pressing challenges of our time:

  • Risk Mitigation in a Constantly Changing World: How can businesses remain resilient and future-ready through smart decision-making?
  • The AI-Driven Learning Revolution: Discover new didactic possibilities and how AI reshapes interactions between educators and learners.
  • The Digital Health Transformation: Explore AI-powered solutions for improving patient care and redefining healthcare systems.
  • Global Perspectives for Entrepreneurs: Uncover opportunities in an increasingly interconnected and dynamic market landscape.
  • Hackathon “Air to Breathe”: In this collaborative workshop, participants will develop their own Air SensorKit to measure air quality to envision a cleaner urban future.

Join us for a day of inspiration, innovation, and collaboration. Let’s shape the future together! Registration is free but required. Stay tuned for updates and secure your spot at this transformative event!

About the CMTB conference series

The Change MEDIA Transform BUSINESS (#cmtb) is a continuation of the well-known #TCCM conference. Since 2012, Think CROSS – Change MEDIA has been a meeting place for journalists, press officers, designers, and managers.

Since 2020, the Cross Media and Digital Business Management continuing education programs at Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences have jointly organized the #CMTB. This conference also deals intensively with the topics of digital business and administration.

A vital part of this conference has been presenting students’ ideas and research work in an international context. Collaborative virtual teaching and learning in international student groups developed emergent topics resulting from a research seminar between five to six universities every year. This course attracted up to 100 students every year, included 5 to 10 professors and brought a variety of topics the younger generation is interested in into the CMTB conference.

For the eleventh time, we invited visitors to discuss and actively participate in contributions from science and practice.
