Invitation – 10 Projects from the Corona Semester on 7th July 2020

The SPiRIT research group is committed to project-based, research-oriented and, above all, practice-integrated teaching. In the digital Corona semester, we faced particular challenges concerning this matter. In the master Risk Management [subject IT Risks and Data Analytics] and Bachelor Business Administration [subject Digital Business] programs, students set up a total of ten practical projects and documented them in e-portfolios. These examples show that a digital semester can also be very practical.

For example, walk-through virtual reality scenes of artists’ studios have been created for the exhibition “Art in the Altmark. Seeing differently”, curated by Günter Mey at the Kunsthaus Salzwedel. One example is the VR model of Helga Geißler’s workshop in Fleetmark.

Further projects were implemented in cooperation with regional partners, such as an IT risk audit for a medium-sized software company or a data analysis for a dairy farm.

We invite you to our final presentations on 7th July 2020 in ZOOM. Just join us at the desired time in the time and topic list for the 15 minute presentations!
